Disneyland

Wednesday Day #4 We left at 5:30 am from San Diego to go to Anaheim. We arrived and checked into the hotel and then headed to the park it opened at 8:00. Disneyland was our families favorite Park, Madalyn said" Dreams really do come true here" We spent 2 days at Disneyland and Cal. Adventure, we wish we had one more day at Disneyland. It was hard to fit everything in. The Gift for today was the kids each had a new Disney shirt to wear that day.
The girls really loved all the Disney characters, we waited in the lines to have them all sign the girls autograph books. I had bought the books before we left for our trip cause they are ALOT cheaper here at home and I left them in San Diego, so Garrett went to buy 3 books which set us back $38. But this is what they had talked about for so long.

Madie's favorite rides: Alice in Wonderland, it's a small world, Winnie the Pooh, Tea cups and Buzz Lightyear. Madalyn went on all the rides that she could (which was almost everything). She does not like scary things so she hated space mountain but she went one everything one time. I was very proud of her for trying it once.
Morgan's Favorite Rides: Splash Mountain, Thunder Mt. Railroad, Sleeping Beauty Castle, buzz Lightyear. Morgan loved all the fast and big rides. She was only 39 in. and for most big rides you had to be 40 in. and so we made her hair tall and put toilet paper in her shoes and she was able to ride them all. She was very sad when she got kicked off a few rides before we discovered the T.P idea.
Natalie Favorite Rides: Dumbo, Circus Train, Buzz Lightyear, Roger rabbit car spin. When we had to get off the rides she would say More, more and start to cry. She wanted to drive the tea cups all by herself. She also loved all the character walking around.

San Diego Zoo

Tuesday Day #3 The San Diego Zoo
At the Zoo we were able to see many different kinds of animals. This Zoo is very large, with tall hills to climb. Our stroller could go almost everywhere but we did have to walk with the kids more. We took the bus around the park in the afternoon cause we were very tired but still wanted to see more.

Natalie fell on the sidewalk Monday night, she had a very large fat lip. She was running faster then her little legs could go. Today's gift for the girls was princess necklaces. It was a big hit.

We went to a sea otters show that was really good. It is amazing what they can get these animals to do.

I just love this picture of Madalyn with her hands, and Morgan with the baby gorilla.
That night the women made watches with really cool beads, it was alot of fun for the kids and the women. I made 3 different ones, once you got going it was hard to stop.

Sea World

Monday Day # 2 Sea World
Monday morning we woke up and drove to Sea World. We really loved the Shamu show. Morgan was very cute with shamu, she thought that every time he waved that he was just waving at her. She called him her Shamu. This stroller was what I got last year for my birthday, it worked out great. It was the kids transportation for the week, and our life saver.

Sesame Street bay of Play had great rides and play area for the kids. Some of the kids favorites were seeing: aquariums, clydesdale horses, sea otters, touching different things in the tide pools.

Natalie feeding the seals, they were very loud and hungry. The day 2 gift for the girls was tinker bell hair bows and jenks family shirt. We loved Sea World.

Flying to San Diego

I want to write a little about our Jenks Family Reunion trip that we just got back from. This year will be 10 years since Garrett's dad was killed. So his mom wanted everyone to be together. What a wonderful gift it was to our family. We had a great time. We enjoyed every minute of it, seeing family and visiting places we have dreamed about for a long time. I'm going to take it day by day. So here we go....................
Our flight left Spokane Sunday at 8:00am, because of it being early we spent the night in Spokane. This was the first time the kids have been on an airplane, they were very excited. The day went very well. Natalie fell asleep for 2 1/2 hours so that was a big plus. She didn't like the landing and taking off. It scared her. We flew with Justin and Heather, it was really nice. The girls love spending time with their kids, they were a big help to us.

The girls all set ready to go. I decided that I would try and make the trip special so the kids got something new each day of the trip. Day #1 was new things in their bag packs. New games, books, coloring pages, work book pages, treats.
When we arrived we had dinner at the Bahia Resort where we were all staying at. Mary did a great job to make things stress free for us. That night the kids enjoyed playing in the sandy beach with cousins we don't see enough.

Last day of school

Today was Madalyn's last day of preschool. They had a play day, what a great time the kids had. We meet at school around 11:00 for a BBQ. The kids had fun with all the water slides.

Madalyn really enjoyed school this year. She loves to learn new things and she loves being around friends. I hope she always enjoys learning. She cried all the way home because today was the last day, she wants to stay at preschool forever. I want to thank her teacher Mrs. Gray she loved her a lot and Morgan can't wait to have her next year.

Yes, another birthday....

Happy 28th Birthday DADDY!!! We love you so much. Tonight at dinner the girls told Garrett what their favorite things to do with him was: wrestle, make pancakes, play games. We had a nice dinner at home tonight.

The kids woke Garrett up early this morning before he had to leave for some Fire Training. They wanted him to open his gifts. We didn't do to much for his birthday, we are calling his boat his birthday present. The girls didn't like that. They wanted to have some thing to give him. I did buy him some socks, and new swim shorts, and a key chain for the boat. Your a great dad, and husband.
All the birthdays are finally over, now we can get ready for Disneyland. ( About a week away)

Finally 4

Our Princess Morgan turned 4 years old on Tuesday May 19th. She has been looking forward to this for a long time. She is so cute, now that she is 4 she can do so much more on her own. She thinks she has grown alot taller now that she is 4. She is looking forward to going to Pre School next fall. She loves to learn, sing, paint her nails, pick flowers, ride her bike, wear PINK, and play with her two best friends her sisters.
Morgan has seen this doll in the store for awhile and really wanted it. I keep telling her to ask for it for her birthday and so what a nice surprise to see it on her birthday cake.
We had all the family over for cake and ice cream on Sunday to celebrate all 3 of their birthdays.
Morgan opening her gifts Tuesday morning.
She loves these, she looks so sweet.

Morgan got spoiled this birthday. Her big gift was the doll house, she is loving it. Every little girl needs one of these. It is so fun to sit and listen to what they are saying while playing. SOOO cute the things they come up with. Morgan had a good day, in the afternoon we went to Red Robin for her birthday. She wanted to pay for her and dad's birthday dinner, she brought her money with her and when we sat at our seat she gave the waiter her penny. She was so proud. Morgan is our dreamer, she loves to be a princess and especially loves Cinderella. She is so tiny, she could wear 24 months pants very tiny around the waist. We love you Morgan. You have such a kind and gentle heart.

Grandma Eppich

Last week the girls and I went to my grandma Eppich's grave. We meet some of my mom's family in there, then we all went to lunch. It was a great time. The girls had lots of questions, the older they get the more they understand. They wanted to know all about her, it was nice to be able to reflect on her. She was the was the best grandmother ever, we miss her a lot. I can't believe that it will be 9 years this year.
Natalie was asleep in the car.

Birthday Girl

Today is Natalie's 2nd Birthday. She is such a joy in our life, she brings lots of laughter to our family. I went into labor with her on Mothers Day and what a treat she has been. I love her so much.
We started the day by opening gifts, the older girls wanted her to open them as soon as we got up. Natalie was really excited about her cake. She loves butterflies so we tried a butterfly puzzle cake. It didn't turn out as well as I hoped but she loved it so that is all the counts right. (at least I keep telling myself that).
Mom and Natalie
This is the puzzle cake, they are different shape cupcakes. It was fun for the kids, it looks like a cake but they are cupcakes.

For Her birthday she got: new sandals, jacket, slip n slide, barbie car, and princess stickers. She was excited to open the gifts and wanted to do it all by herself.
We love our little girl so much, we realize she is no longer a baby any more. When you ask her if she is your princess she will say "No daddy's baby". Here are a few fun things about Natalie
Favorite food: shrimp, (she will eat more than Garrett can)
Favorite color: pink or blue
Favorite song: songs from the movie Annie, or "spider song"
Favorite book: any book that talks about babies or has pictures of babies
Favorite person: Sarah or Dad
Favorite treats: fruit snacks
Favorite movie: Annie or Super Why
Favorite Words: Please, snacks, mommy's bed
She loves to be rocked like a baby.
She loves her 2 blankets and real looking baby, she has to sleep with them every night. Then finds the tags on the blankets rubs them against her face before she can fall asleep.
We love you so much Natalie and are so happy you are a happy healthy little girl.

Here are a few pictures of our first fishing trip with the new boat. We finally got the cover made for it so we could take it out and keep the kids warm. We went to potholes. We came home with 3 walleye. I caught the biggest one. It was great to beat Garrett.
Dad and Madie enjoying the fishing, and some treats.

Can we drive the boat dad??????
Natalie doing what she does best.........sleeping. It was really nice to have lots of room to move around and have a place to put her when she fell asleep.
Garrett and the kids in the boat. Garrett spent one afternoon buffing the outside of the boat, it looks great. It's funny how much time we spend trying to take care of the boat. I guess when you have saved money for a long time to buy it you take better care of it. We are going to love this summer fishing.
