A Hard Day

I hope everyone has had one of the days that i have had, nothing went really wrong but it has just been a hard day being a mom. I never thought this mom business would be so hard. Having three kids so close together has been hard and when you try and do anything it makes you think Why do i even try!!! I guess i just needed to vent to someone so sorry. How do you guys handle days that you just want to throw in the towel on life??????
Well on a happy note...... i'm getting braces back on. I know everyone that really knows me is thinking why. So here is the story. I worked as an orthodontic assistant for 3 years and just loved it. in fact there are days ( like today i would love to go back to work) i had braces 5 years ago and then got a retainer in those 5 years i have had some shifting going on on my lower arch so i went yesterday to get a different kind of a retainer and the doctor said that he didn't think i would be happy with my teeth with as much knowledge i have about teeth, just to leave them the way they are now. which he is right i'm really picky about teeth. garrett thinks i'm crazy when it comes to peoples teeth, i already told him all of our kids would have ortho treatment done. Well i should only have them on for 9 months, and they are FREE so why not.

yard work

It has been a long time since i have been on here to let everyone know how are little family is doing. We have been so busy these last few weeks with yard work. On house is on 1.5 acres and so that gives us lots of room; which we love the extra space but it requires alot more work. When we first bought this house 2 years ago we didn't have any landscaping or trees in the yard the house was built and then nothing done with the yard. So these past few weeks we have been planting tree, scrubs, flowers and i also found a little time to start my veg. garden. I love working outside in the yard, that is something that i have always loved doing and when the house is your it makes it even more special and exciting to see the changes you have done. We have also had alot of rock brought in from beaver bark, we got gravel to go in the driveway, river rock to go in all the flower beds and around trees, and then we had pea gravel to go under the swing set and around the tramp and in the sand box(the kids area). this has required alot of hard labor shoveling all the rock around to the different parts of the house. But i have loved it, we are having ok weather and i have to be out in the sun. ( hoping to get a tan). After we get done with that we are going to paint the outside of the house, the garage was added on after the house was built and so it was never painted and so the house is 8 years old we are just going to paint the whole thing now a different color. we had someone come out and the bid was $6,500 for them to do it, so garrett has decided to do it ourselves. I hate painting. Well better go i think that LOST starts back up this week and i love that show, i can't miss it.

ps. here are some pictures of the girls playing outside, and in dress up clothes.

Last weekend we had the chance to go to the Woodland Zoo in Seattle. It was great. On Friday while garrett had his CPR training i took the girls swimming at the hotel, when he got back we went to dinner and then back to the hotel for some more swimming. This is the girls enjoying the hotel room and pool. Madie loves to put a towel around her head after showers and swimming, she says that she is a mom when she does that. Kids are so funny sometimes. On Saturday we went to the zoo. It was a good thing i was prepared for just about any kind of weather we got it all, snow, rain. It was cold when we first got to the zoo but after a few hours it got a little warmer. The girls loved it, we were there for 5 hours they just keep wanting to see more and we couldn't leave without seeing everything there. I was a great day.
