Madalyn Pictures

Madalyn was very excited to finally go and get her pictures taken, we waited until she had a free day with no school.
We love you Madie. You are a sweetheart.

I can't believe that she is 6 already, time is going by so fast with our kids. I enjoy being a mom to these 3 girls they bring so much joy to my life. I can't remember what we use to do without kids. They keep us running and on our toes.

Miss Natalie

These are Natalie's 2 year pictures. She actually turned two in May so I guess they are 2 1/2 year pictures. She was a nightmare. We get in there and she was so scared of the camera and would not let go of me. I tried everything, singing songs, bribing her with candy and make-up, going to McDonalds to eat and play. Nothing worked. She finally let go of me long enough to get these, it took us 1 hour just to get these shots.

She still looks so sweet, and beautiful. She is growing up so fast, she thinks she is so BIG.

Morgan

I took Morgan in to get her 4 year pictures taken, I know I'm a little late she turned 4 in May. She loves the camera and the camera seems to like her. I was happy with her pictures.

Madalyn is getting hers taken next week. I hope they turn out as well as Morgans.

Class field trip

Thursday was Madalyn's kindergarten class field trip. She was so excited to go, she woke up 30 min. early and made her own lunch and was dressed when I woke up that morning.
We had great weather for that day, I was a little worried cause we got lots of rain at the beginning of the week.
I was able to take Morgan and Natalie on the field trip and they loved it.

We went to a new dairy there in Mesa, i could not believe how big it is. The kids seemed to enjoy seeing all the cows and how things work at a dairy. They loved the ice cream treat when we were done exploring the dairy. We then went to the Mesa park to play and eat lunch.

The highlight for Madalyn was the Country Mercantile. The kids loved everything about it. They got to go on a hay ride to pick out a pumpkin, see and pet animals, climb on the hay stack pyramid, and do the maze.

Pumpkins

For FHE last night we got together with My parents, Sarah, Jason and Karyn, and Joe and Melissa Jenks to carve pumpkins. We gathered at my dads shop and had a great time. It was nice to see Joe and Melissa and have some more kids around for the girls to play with.
Daddy and Madalyn being really silly with the pumpkins.
Sarah and Natalie. Whenever Sarah is around Natalie doesn't leave her side very much. Two peas in a pod.
Morgan' s pumpkins is a wolf hailing at the moon.
Madalyn and Garrett carved a raccoon coming out of a pumpkin. Madie hated cleaning out the inside of the pumpkin. Garrett just got done hunting, with no luck.
Our family and the finial results.
The big group and all the SCARY pumpkins.

Fun Crafts

Along with making cookies on Saturday we also worked on a few crafts. Emily made me the orange pumpkins for my birthday. I finished the BOO and FALL blocks yesterday. I started them last month and had not finished them. I really like them, they turned out great. It pays off to have a crafty sister. Thanks Emily!!!

Sugar Cookies

Yesterday was opening day for hunting and so that left all of us women without husbands. So we decided to all get together and make Halloween sugar cookies. What a fun day it turned out to be. It was me and the girls Emily and Karyn
and Sarah for a little while.

The kids really enjoyed playing in the dough. Emily and Karyn got a little taste of what it is like cooking with kids. Nothing turns out perfect, too many helping hands. We made a double batch of cookies, that gave us lots to frost.

After the sun went down the men all came home and we rented a movie. It turned out to be a great day.

Fall

Our garden is just about done producing, it is getting colder at night and things will be freezing soon. Last night we went out and picked some pumpkins to put on our front porch.
The girls have enjoyed watching them grow all throughout the summer. All the weeding paid off.
Natalie wanted a tiny, baby one. This one is not even orange yet.
Madalyn had hers picked out a long time ago, the biggest one in the garden.
Morgan just loved being in front of the camera.
Fall is in the air, I'm not sure I am enjoying the colder weather but Garrett loves it he thinks it smells like hunting season in the morning. I would be ok for cold weather for about a month but after that I can't wait for summer.

29

Yesterday I celebrated my 29th birthday, I can't believe that I'm that old. I think next year will be hard turning 30. Garrett was nice enough to watch the kids for me so I could go to Tri-Cities and go shopping with my mom and Emily. He ended up watching Kyla and Hunter also cause Jande had her baby on Sunday (a boy Brayden Lane). It was tons of fun, I have not been shopping with no kids in a long time. We enjoyed a great lunch at Olive Garden. Garrett and the girls got me a kitchen knife set and a necklace with all the girls names and birth stones on it. It was a nice day.

Soccer

For the past 2 weeks Madalyn has been playing soccer. There are 8 kids on each team, 4 kids play at a time so it works out great. Our first game was against another Mesa team and we did great, Madalyn played very hard.

We played a really hard team next and the kids didn't have very much fun. The kids were giants compared to us. In fact Madalyn came home and said she was never playing again. The next day she had another game and I had to promise her gum to get her in the car to go to the game. I didn't want her giving up already. That game was so much better they were more on our level and the kids won. Madie was so excited that she scored. She loves it now. I hope she continues to have fun. The kids think the best part is the treats at the end of the game.
