Easter Time

The girls got to wear their new Easter dresses to church today since next week is Conference and we will be down visiting family.

Madalyn 6, she just got her hair cut and she now has a new addition to the front of her forehead. She was very excited to show off her new look, she wondered if her friends would know it was her or think she was a new student.

Morgan 4, she also got 4 inches cut off.

You know you have to many girls when......

you get to church and realize you forgot to do one of their hair. Last Sunday we were all ready for church, we are getting out of the van at church. Madalyn jumps out first looking really cute then Natalie looks great then comes Morgan and I just about die What I forgot to do her hair. I just start to laugh, how could I forget her hair. It was a mess. Lucky I had a few hair things in the van so we went in the bathroom to do it.........And we are adding one more head of hair for me to do Sunday morning. CRAZY!!!!

st. patrick's day

Madalyn loves everything about school!!! Her teacher is the best, she makes learning so much fun for these young kids. Since Wednesday was St. Patrick's Day they were all told to make sure and wear green. This is her before school all dressed up in her green, my mom even got her a glow in the dark necklace to wear. That is who she is talking to on the phone, my mom had called to see if she had green pancakes for breakfast (we had them that night for dinner since I didn't wake up in time to make them)
Starting on Monday Madalyn's class had a few visits from some sneaky little green friends called the leprechauns. It was cute she would come home and tell me all about what the leprechauns did that day in the classroom. Sometimes they messed up the play center, the would move the desks all around, the painted the walls green, wrote them notes, and made them green cupcakes. On Tuesday before they left to go home they set a trap in the classroom hoping to trap the little green friends, when they returned on Wednesday the trap had gone off but they didn't get them. They did leave the kids a pot of gold candy coins. It was a fun week for her.
One more thing: On Tuesday afternoon we were all working outside in the yard and Madalyn comes in to get a drink and finds the wii on, she then comes out just yelling at Garrett and me. "The leprechauns have been in our house playing the wii" I guess Garrett forgot to turn off the wii before we left :)

Baby Update

Today was another doctor visit, Garrett had to work so I took Morgan and Natalie with me. They were very excited to be able to see the baby on the ultra sound machine. After they had taken us back to our room and the nurse had left, I was talking to the girls about seeing the baby and how exciting it was going to be for them. Morgan lifts up my shirt and says to the baby "Now you be good and don't hide so we can tell what you are, please I really want to know". She then put my shirt back down and said "Mom I'm going to say a prayer and ask Heavenly Father not to let the baby hide this time, and tell him I want a boy". My heart just melted, we have been trying to prepare the girls for a baby girl but they keep saying they want a brother.
So the doctor came in and we found out that we are having a GIRL!!! (Well he is 90% sure) That is right we will be added more pink to our home and no fire trucks :) I was not surprised it was a girl, I guess I had just hoped it was a boy and since I have been a lot sicker I thought I might have a chance but oh well. I was a little worried about how Morgan was going to handle it but they were surprisingly excited about it. We got out of the doctors office and called Garrett and he took the news OK, I guess he was already planning on a girl. I'm a little disappointed I really wanted a boy for Garrett but I guess the Lord wants us to have a house full of girls. I'm just glad she looks good.

Grandma turns 80

Natalie has become even MORE of a daddy's girl. I didn't know that was possible. With my growing belly she can't snuggle with me as well.

Morgan and Kyla never apart, Madalyn and Bailey (Seth and Heathers) We wish they lived closer. They have a lot of fun together.

Grandma LaVon McGary turned 80 a few weeks ago, my dad and his siblings gave her a party. It was fun to see family and some old pictures of grandma. I'm so lucky to have grandparents that live close. We love you!!!

Talent Show

Our primary had a talent show on Wednesday. Madalyn and Morgan sang "I can't tie my shoes Blues" they also displayed pictures they had colored, watches and necklaces they had made. It turned out to be a nice Talent Show.

The past 2 weeks have been really busy for us, I don't have any pictures to show what we have been doing but life has been crazy. These are a few: working in Madalyn's class room, Organizing the Talent show, R.S. birthday dinner, Sarah's state basketball tournament, Morgan's preschool field trip, grandma's 80th birthday party, and learning how to coupon shop takes any extra time I find. I have had some great deals, but I spend a lot of time during the day and when the kids go to bed finding the great deals.

COUPONS

I have been wanting to find out how so many women get so much for such a small amount of money. I found out there was going to be a sale on fruit snacks,fruit roll-ups, gushers, and diapers last night so I got busy finding extra coupons to go with the sale. I woke up early and as soon as Madalyn got on the bus at 7:15 the girls and I left. I use coupons a lot and it helps out but this is my first big SAVINGS!!
40 boxes of fruit snacks
7 packs of gum
5 king size ch. bars
1 box of cereal
total =14.21 I figure it' s .30 cents a box for the fruit snacks
I hit two different stores for the diaper sale. I figure with the baby coming soon I better start stocking up . I figure I spent 6.00 on each pack of Jumbo. I bought a few more things on sale, but these were my big Savings. I figured I saved about $200 today. A lot of people say you can't take kids with you when you do this kind of shopping, but today I had no choice. They surprised me and did well. Morgan loved seeing all the box tops she gets to cut off for Madie's school. I did treat them to McDonald's after we got done.

Life around our house has not been very exciting. We have had sick kids for a few weeks now, (with a head colds). Morgan got it first, it only lasted a few days for her. Then Natalie got it 2 weeks ago and is still battling it. The poor thing her nose runs all day long, her face is all red from all the wiping. As you can see in this pictures her skin has seen better days. She looked so cute with her baby.

The weather is getting nicer, we spend 2 hours outside today. I'm looking forward to the warmer weather, My kids are so much happier when they can play outside. Garrett got the tether ball pole up this week for the kids to play with. We also spent sometime working in the garden, I guess I should say Garrett did most of the work. With my growing belly it's getting harder to bend over. We planted some more raspberries.

I feel like my belly has really gotten a lot bigger the last month. I have a bad pinched nerve on the left side of my lower back it's getting really painful. By the end of the day I'm in so much pain. My left leg goes numb a lot. I wish June was closer.

In a month we are going to get to go visit some of Garrett's brothers and sisters, we live close to all of my family but most of Garrett's family live far away. My kids can't wait, they love seeing their cousins. Mary is also coming home for a month and the kids can't wait to see Grandma. It's been strange for them not to be able to drive over anytime they want and visit. Plus they miss the grandma candy drawer, and the fun things at her house.

Surprise....

Today was our ultra sound again..........This baby very stubborn. It wants it to be a Surprise!!!! So I guess it's going to win this fight. The baby legs were apart this time but the cord was in the way so we could not tell. I went out and bought a Dr. Pepper so I could have some caffeine in my system, I'm not a big pop drinker so it was hard for me to get that down. Still no Luck. What the heck I have never known of a person that has had 2 ultra sounds and still can't find out what they are having. When we got home the girls all came running up and wanted to know what it was and I had to say "the baby still wants to play hide n seek with you guys and we are going to have to wait until the baby born to find out". This is what we told them after the first time and they thought that it was cute. This time no one thought it was cute. The worst part is now I have to come up with both a girls name and a boys name & I would really like to go shopping for this baby.

Be Mine

Since Valentines Day this year was on Sunday the girls and I decided to do something special for Garrett on Saturday. He work all day Friday and half a day on Saturday, that gave us lots of time to get things ready before he came home. The kids loved decorating for the dinner. We made name tags, lighted candles, and put the valentines decorations on the table.

Morgan and Natalie were the servers, Madalyn played music on her violin that she got for Christmas.

Garrett was really surprised and excited for a date with his 3 girls.

We decorated the garage door for him. The kids thought that was the greatest!!! Garrett and I got each other a new camcorder for Valentines Day, our other one is 10 years old and has been giving us lot of trouble the past year. We needed a new one before the baby comes.
