Morgan turns 5

Our little Morgan turned 5 years old today. Happy Birthday Morgan!!! I can't believe that this Fall she will start kindergarten. It was cute this morning when she got up she told me that she could now turn the lights on WITHOUT standing on her tippy toes, she grew that much over night. She also said that she can read better now that she is 5.
Morgan wanted a unicorn cake with wings, she told me mom it has to have wings so this is the best I could do.

Morgan really liked it so that is all that counts. It was hard to find a time to celebrate all three birthdays. We had a few family members over on Monday for cake and ice cream.

My mom got Morgan things to work outside: a kids rake, hoe, watering can, and gloves. She loves to work in the garden, especially with grandma.
A birthday is not a birthday without the McGary spank n machine. The kids always love and look forward to this. We couldn't get Garrett to go through.
Morgan opened her gifts this morning before Madalyn got on the bus, she looks a little sleepy.

For her birthday she got: roller skates, Princess and the Frog movie, butterfly net, unicorn, and kindergarten workbooks.
Happy Birthday Morgan!!! Morgan is still full of life, she is very kind and loving to all her sisters. She is very excited for the baby to come. She comes over to me at least once a day and kisses my tummy and talks to the baby. She will be a big helper. Morgan is sill very small, she seems to be growing taller but she can still wear 2T pants. She loves anything that is pink, and her favorite food is chicken pillows and pancakes. She also has quite the sweet tooth. I don't know where she got that from :)

Natalie's 3

Happy Birthday Natalie!!!! Yesterday our baby turned 3. Time is flying by with her, she is such a great little girl. She brings so much love and laughter into our family.
This year she wanted a Mermaid Cake, she is in love with the movie Barbie and a Mermaid Tale. She got this movie from the Easter Bunny and loves to watch it. When it's her turn to pick a movie to watch it's that one or Barbie and the Three Musketeers.

We took the girls to Chuck E Cheeses last night to celebrate Natalie and Morgan's Birthday. Morgan's in just a few days. This month is birthday month around our house.
The rides were great, I think they had a great time.

Natalie opening her gifts. She got a Dora tent, water toy, outside chair, make-up, paint and a workbook.
She finally got her own chair, she has had to share with the older girls.

Happy Birthday Natalie. We are so glad that you were placed in our family we love your smile and happy personality. You are truly a princess!!!

Field Trip

Morgan's preschool took a field trip to the Pasco Fire Department on Thursday to learn about fire Safety and see what firefighters did. She was very excited to go and show her friends what her dad did.

The Kids enjoyed it, I think their favorite part was spraying the hose. At the end of the tour Garrett forgot to give the kids stickers and a safety booklets and about 5 mins. down the road Morgan said Dad forgot the stickers and books. So she had to call him and tell him to bring some home for her to give to the kids on the next day of school.

Another cute thing was that afternoon Morgan was down helping my mom work in her yard, after they got done they went inside to make dinner. My mom started cooking something on the stove top and told Morgan all be right back I need to go change out of my work clothes. She said she came back less than a minute later and Morgan said " Grandma you are never suppose to leave the stove on when you leave the room, you could start a fire". I guess she did learn a few things at the Fire Department.

I love the pictures of the girls with the hats on.

Fire Pit

I have been wanting Garrett to build me a nice fire pit for a long time and I finally got one. We couldn't decided where to put it, that is what took us so long to finally get it done. We had FHE this week outside around it. It will be really nice this summer.

Daughtry Concert

Last night we were able to drive to Yakima and see in Concert Daughtry and Life House. It was a blast being able to have sometime way from kids and just hang out with some young couples. There were 4 couples that went, we borrowed a big 12 passenger van so we could all ride over together. I don't think that I have laughed that much in a long time. It was a long night we didn't get home until 1:00 am. I had a hard time waking up the next morning to get Madalyn ready for school.
Brady & Rachael Cutler, Luke & Leisl Sullivan, Garrett and Me, and Jason and Karyn McGary

This was Garrett and My first Rock Concert, we have been to a lot of Country Concerts but this was so much different than those. The music was really good but so much louder and people stand a lot more. I don't know what was more entertaining the singers or the Really drunk people in front of us. We had a good time enjoying a night out with friends. We went to Red Robin before and then to the concert.
It was really dark and my camera doesn't take good pictures in the dark.

34 weeks

This will more than likely be the last picture I post of myself, I can't stand it I'm getting fatter each day. I only put this in here for my Journal purposes. I can't wait less than 6 weeks left. If anyone has any good ideas for going into labor early let me know. I'm so ready!!!!

Mothers Day 2010

This Mother's Day Weekend we took the kids to the park. Most of my family was able to come and meet there. It would have been a great plan but after about 1 hour of playing and riding bikes it started to rain really hard. So we packed up and went to eat at Eatza Pizza.

The kids always love going and playing at the park, even if it was for a short time. The girls took me and bought me flowers for Mother's Day ones that will go outside in our flower pots.

Today is Mother's Day and I have a lot to be grateful for, one of my biggest blessings is being a MOM. Most of the time I feel like I'm not cut out for this and I'm doing it all wrong, but I'm so grateful that my Heavenly Father keeps giving me second chances. I have the BEST 3 girls anyone could ask for, they are so loving and forgiving towards me. I only hope that I can be a better mom each day and that they have someone to look up to. It's scary to think that I have the responsibility to raise these girls in this world. With Madalyn going to school and being exposed to the real world I have really had my eyes opened to what is out there, I just want to keep them innocent. I told Garrett the other day " Man I thought that once they got a little older and out of the baby stage things would get easier, but I was wrong. This parenting stuff is harder than I thought". I can remember when Madalyn was a baby and sitting there just crying cause she was so hard, and thinking I can't wait until she is older. But now she is almost 7 and the challenges and hardships just change. I love being a MOM and would not change those moments for anything. MADALYN, MORGAN, NATALIE AND BABY.............I LOVE YOU SO MUCH. I hope you have patience with me.

Fresh Salmon

Garrett and a few friends have been going down to the river fishing the last few days. They have been getting up at 3:30 am and going in the early mornings, that is a crazy time to go but I guess it gets really busy by 7:00. Plus they have to go get a good fishing spot. CRAZY BOYS!!!! The first fish was caught on Wednesday it weighted 15 pounds, Garrett caught that one. Then Thursday they caught two fish. Garrett caught the bigger one (18 pounds) and my brother Jason caught the smaller one (8 pounds). I could not believe when Garrett told me last night that he was going to go for a few hours this morning before he had to leave to go to work. He leaves for work at 7:10 am, so left at 4:30 to get in a few hours of fishing.
We ate some of the Salmon last night for dinner and it was so good, Garrett is also going to cook some up for Mother's Day dinner along with the rest of the meal.

Tucannon

Last Friday we took the kids to Tucannon which is about 2 hours from our house. We left after Garrett got home from work Friday morning, Madalyn missed school that day. I thought she would be really mad about her not gong but surprisingly she was ok with that. We have never taken the girls fishing from the bank so we thought it would be a good experience for them. Another bonus for us was my parents bought a travel trailer a few months ago and they let us take that with us. I don't think I ever what to go real camping in a tent again. It was so nice, especially with kids. It made camping great. The kids just loved staying in it. Between my brothers and sisters I think it will get used a lot. Thanks mom and dad. It's always nice when they buy things and let us use them.
The week before they had stocked the lakes up there, which was great for us. When we got up there on Friday we started fishing, we had not been there more than 2 hours and Morgan got to close to the edge and fell in. She was lucky it was not that deep. (she got wet up to her waist). That day we fished at Rainbow and Blue Lake.
On Friday we caught 10 fish. It was a learning experience the first day to find out what was working as far as bait.
Doing a little night fishing.

I just love this picture. Natalie ran down to tell the girls that she just caught a BIG fish. She looks like she is really chewing them out. Which most of the time she is.
Friday was a beautiful day, the sun was out. We all got sunburns.
These next pictures were of Saturday. The weather was terrible, it was so cold. Some friends came up for the day on Saturday. Brian Lloyd and his kids came, and Brady and Rachael Cutler and their daughter Natalie. That was fun for the kids. We fished at Pearl lake on Saturday.

That day Garrett went and bought new things to fish with and that helped out a lot. We had mastered the fishing by using a fly on the line. We caught over 100 fish that day. Just about every cast we had a fish on. We only keep the big ones and a few that the kids caught. Our limit was 25 fish for that day, it was a lot of throwing them back. Garrett spent most of time untangling line and getting fish off. I will now bait my own line but I still can't bring myself to take the fish off the line. Maybe that will come.
Trying to stay warm. Madalyn and Marissa
All the kids had a great time. We hope to go back again this summer sometime.

Count down

I have 2 months left before this baby comes. I'm so ready for her to be here, I wish it was June. I can't believe how hard this pregnancy has been on my body. I started physical therapy yesterday for my back and left leg pain that I have been having. I sure hope that it helps. I keep telling Garrett that this is the last one, cause this has really been hard on me. I guess we will see. Plus I'm going to be 30 this year. When we got married we both said we wanted to be done by 30. It just makes me sad to think we might not get a boy.
Our family has been enjoying the warmer weather, we went fishing last weekend. It was fun for the kids to be able to fish. We caught 3. We have been working on our garden and hope to finish planting on Monday. Garrett stays busy with work, school, teaching CPR classes and this time of year he seems to have lots of extra training for the fire dept. that he has to attend.
I'm getting ready for school to be out for Madalyn and Morgan. I love the summer time, and not having to worry about the busy school schedule. I don't think she is ready.
