Preschool

 Today was Natalie's first day of preschool. She was very excited to go back to see some of her friends and meet a few new kids.  She will just go to school one day a week, then we will do school at home the other days of the week.

Showing off her backpack. I had to laugh this morning when I was getting her hair done. We were talking about making new friends and playing with everyone. She said " Mom I will just play with the girls, the boys get nervous around me". It made me laugh!!! Garrett told her that's what happens when your so pretty.

Good night

Brooklyn woke up this morning when the kids were getting ready for school. It was Garrett's day off so I asked him to take Brooklyn so I could get the two girls ready for school. After they got on the bus I came in the room and found the two like this. Brooklyn loves to sleep on top of you.

Saturdays

 As the girls grow up I try to teach them how to help out more around the house, In hopes to make my life a little simpler. Today Madalyn moped and dusted, Morgan Vacuumed and cleaned out the dish washer. These two are getting to be big helpers. Even though it's hard for me to watch them do jobs cause they don't get it done as well as I would like, but I guess that comes with time.

 Natalie on the other hand does great when she wants too. Most of the day Natalie looked like this reading books or playing. When I brought out the camera she popped right up and wanted to pretend to be folding clothes, after the picture was taken I found her right back to the little chair.

Teeth

 Morgan lost her 1st tooth last night. She was brushing her teeth and out it fell. She was very excited for the tooth fairy to come and to take it to school the next day. This tooth fell out very fast, she just noticed it was loose on Monday.

Tooth fairy left $2.00 that night. She was so excited the next day.

Craft Day

 It's really nice to have a crafty sister. Emily keeps me updated on the cute crafts. She found this Halloween wreath, she went and got all the supplies for us to make it. We all got together at my mom's house to make it. (Me, Emily,Mom, Jande, and Karyn) and all the kids. How come it is that the Men never have to take the kids when they go hunting but we always have the kids when we do something?????????

Jason did come down and take them ALL on a four wheeler ride for a few minutes.

Reading Time

 Since the older girls have gone back to school I have had to entertain the little ones more. Natalie started preschool at home with me this week. She has done very well. She seems to learn so much better with me and her. We decided this year I would just do preschool with her at home. She will go to the preschool one day a week, so she play with other kids and learn there also. I'm excited about preschool at home she has already learned so much fast. She asks all day long to do more preschool. I'm sure that is going to get old for me.  

Back to School

 We started school on Monday. The girls were very excited to go back and see their friends and new teachers. The bus comes to our house at 7:27 so we wake up at 6:40.

 Madalyn is in 2nd grade with Mrs. Rill. She is growing up so fast, sometimes that's good but other times I feel like I'm fighting with a teenager.

 Miss Morgan is in 1st grade with Mrs. Rucker. Morgan is all girl, and loves to be girly and dress like a princess.

I'm not loving the early mornings. I guess I have to many years to start complaining.

Brooklyn's Pictures

 Brooklyn's 14 months pictures. She didn't enjoy taking them. The minute I put her down she started to cry, so this is what we got.

 Hope can you not just love and want to kiss this little one all day long. She is such a daddy's girl, from the moment he walks in the door is runs to him saying daddy, daddy!!!!! Then she stays by his side all day long. (It might be because he babies her)

 I just love her looking at the book.

The last few days of summer....

On Monday the girls start back up in school. Madalyn will be in 2nd, Morgan 1st, and Natalie in Pre-School. Brooklyn is going to have a hard time with everyone gone doing things and she has to stay at home with mom all day long. Where has the summer GONE. I have mixed feelings about the kids going back to school, I'm ready for them to be gone and the fighting to stop but I don't want to have to wake up early to make lunches and get kids on the bus. We have enjoyed as a family not having a schedule. We have had some highlights despite all the bad things that happened this summer (read next post).
* Took the kids to Silverwood
* Went to Karena's house with other family members
* Went to the cabin for a week
* Garrett and I had our 9 year anniversary
* Mary & Monty came to visit, the kids had a blast
*Lots of swimming, and riding bikes
* Playing with cousins
Now it's back to school!!!

WATER

This summer has brought on a lot of different challenges for us. I keep thinking that the Lord better give us a break sometime soon. We are not liking the trials he is giving us. The first of July we found out that we had water problems at our house. Our water started to come out darker and muddier each day, within a few days we had no water. We had a few different well companies come out and try and fix the problem. We found out that we have Big Major problems with our water. The well has caved in and so they need to either dig a new well or try and fix the old one and dig down deeper in hopes that we find more water. So we thought about it for a few days and we decided to try and fix the old one. The amount to dig a new one would be about $30,000-40,000 because the water level is about 820 feet down. We about died when we heard that. So we found someone that thought they could fix it for about half the cost of a new well. But this guy keeps telling us "I will be there next week" and it has been almost 7 weeks. I'm so stressed about everything!!!!!! It's hard not having WATER. We go and get water from my parents house and put it into our 1,000 gallon holding tank and that is what we are living on. What a BIG pain this has been for us. Just when we think we can really start to save to build a house a big curve ball comes our way. It's been really depressing around here.
