 We spent the 4th of July this year at the Basin City Parade like always. Then we had a BBQ at my mom's house. Garrett had to work the fourth so we didn't go to the fireworks, which really disappointed the girls.

 We always love when cousins come to visit. My kids can't get enough of their cousins. Trenton and Maren came for the weekend, what a good time the kids had.

Our little baby Angel is 2. June 26 could not come fast enough for Brooklyn. We had been talking a lot about birthday in the month of may so she knew that hers was soon and what she should expect for her big day. She kept saying "Happy Birthday"and "Dora Happy Birthday Cake"

Brooklyn loves Dora......So I made a Dora cake she even had her bag pack on. Which Brooklyn loves the bag pack. She even has one just like Dora.

Garrett was working during the day so the girls and I went to the movies, we saw "Brave" then that night we had dinner and opened her gifts. We got Brooklyn a new swing set for the back yard. It didn't get here in time for her birthday but she enjoyed a few other gifts.

2 weeks after her birthday the swing set finally comes and we get it set up. It was quite the project for Garrett, only 15 hours to put it together. No Biggie. What fun that is going to be this summer.

It's Potty Time!!!

We have started to potty train Brooklyn, or I should say Brooklyn hates to wear diapers now. About 2 weeks ago I could not keep a diaper on Brooklyn, she would rip if off any chance she got and run around naked or go find underwear to try and put on. So I thought she so ready. We are still trying to master it, she hates the diaper but careless if she pees on the floor or in her underwear. I don't know I guess we will see how the next few weeks go.

She just woke up from a nap, that explains the crazy hair. She's getting ready to help me make cookies.

Sarah and Dexter's Wedding

 On Friday June 22, Sarah got married in the Columbia River Temple. What a special day for her and Dexter. We are so excited for their new life together.

The kids waited for them to come out of the temple. They looked so cute in their matching outfits.

Mesa's Got Talent

 This was the first year Mesa School had an end of the year talent show. The girls were brave enough to get up and do a dance. I was so happy they wanted to do it, they also made up the dance with their two friends. They made up everything on their own. No help from the parents, they got together a few times to practice.

Memorial Day

 This Memorial Day we went to John's, Kristi's and Elden's graves in Othello, then went to the park for lunch and to play softball. What a great family tradition to carry on. I didn't take to many pictures.

Brooklyn loves to put head bands in her hair. Natalie dropped hers on the grass, next thing I see Brooklyn has found it and now it's in her hair.

Farm Work

Since my dad's hand accident Garrett has been working on the farm on his days off. The two little girls have enjoyed riding on the tractor with him.
