Lane McGary Party

It was the first year we have had our own party, that means more fun. It also means more baking for us women.
Cousins waiting to go Christmas caroling. It was the perfect night to go caroling, it was snowing and we got 1/2 inch for white snow.
 All 12 cousins
Sing your little hearts out girls.
We also started the cousins gift exchange, it was fun for the kids to go shopping for each other and see what each one got. Grandma also had a fun game and the kids each ended up with a fun gift.
Madie got a day spa with Karyn which she was so excited about. She was able to go a week later and had a blast. She enjoyed 3 hours of being spoiled. Her favorite was the facial and putting sparkly hair extensions in her hair.

Brooklyn enjoying Baby Brynlie. She is always wanting to hold her.

Christmas Dresses

I feel so very blessed to have 4 healthy happy beautiful girls. Merry Christmas

They are my life, so grateful for each one and the special spirit they bring to our family.

Madalyn 9 years old, 3rd grade
Morgan 7 years old, 2nd grade
Natalie 5 years old, kindergarten

Sisterly love

I went to check on the girls one night before bedtime and found this. These moments make being a mom worth every minute. They don't even sleep in the same bed. They have their own twin beds, but I often find them in the same bed together.

Santa is coming to town

That's right we got to go see the big man on Tuesday at the church. This is as close as Brooklyn would get to him. I was really surprised cause she is always talking about Santa and saying she wants make-up and a princess from him. She asks everyday "Mom when is Santa coming home".
Morgan asked for: cooking supplies, a camera, and big kitchen
Natalie has had a hard time thinking of what to ask for this year. She asked for a camera,(just cause her sisters did) lights to decorate her room.
Madalyn wants: a camera, pet shop, and a easy bake oven.
I hope their letters go to the North Pole on time.

Who needs a boy......

That's right, who says girls can't hunt. Garrett was teaching the girls about guns and the safety of holding a gun
Madalyn and Morgan want to go deer hunting next year. Garrett was teaching them how to shoot one night.

Christmas tree

The day before Thanksgiving our Christmas tree went up, I was so excited for the Christmas season to begin. Garrett agreed to up it up then cause he worked Thanksgiving day and then you have Black Friday and a busy weekend.

All the kids took turns putting on the star. Garrett holds them up to the top, I think it will have to be Madalyn's last year. She's growing like a weed and is getting so big to pick her up that high is almost impossible.
Merry Christmas

Craft day with Grandma

Grandma McGary had the kids come down last week and make candy sleighs. The kids just loved it. They each made one for themselves and one for their school teachers.

It was fun to see each child's project. Each were so different in their own style. Brooklyn made her own, she was sure she didn't need any help.
Natalie waiting for the glue gun
Morgan's was piled high with candy.
What a fun project. Thanks grandma!!!

Spelling Bee

The middle of November the kids had the annual spelling Bee. I was so Proud of both girls. They studied like crazy this year. They received the list of words about 2 weeks before the date. They chose to study instead of watching T.V and playing many of times.
All their hard worked paid off they both took 2nd place. It was funny when both of them got down to the final two kids left. Both 2nd and 3rd grade ran out of words on the list. Which they were given about 300 words. So they had to move on to the next grades lists. Madalyn's teacher said they only had that happen one time in the 20+ years she had been there.
 Their medals
I was so happy and proud of these two girls, they worked so hard. Starting in third grade you move on to districts so Madalyn will advance to Decembers finals.
Madalyn did very well at Disticts, she had a few really hard words. She spelled about 15 words. She took 5th place. Her friends Eather Poulson took 1st.
