Girls Just wanta have FUN!!!

"A Spa Party"
Morgan and Natalie had their birthday parties together. This was not the plan at first, we were suppose to have Morgan's Friday after school and then Natalie's on Saturday. But we made it to the championship game for baseball and the game was on Saturday so we had to combined them.
It turned out so well, I think all 15 girls had a great time. I had told the girls that we would try to keep the parties separate. We all made flip flops together, and then moved on to the pedicures.
Natalie tie in on her fabric. She picked red. Morgan picked purple and orange.
15 pairs of flip flops
While they waited for their turns to get a pedicure they enjoyed a Orange Julius. Just like you would at a Spa. They thought that was fun.

I was lucky I had Madalyn, Esther, and Corrigan help out with the pedicures, they loved giving them. But wanted one after we were all done.
Natalie and her friends opening gifts.
Morgan's friends
Now it's time for facials. HAAAAA so relaxing. The mud masks were extra special.

Karyn was extra helpful, I couldn't have done it all in the short 3 hours without her.
Dinner time.

Big girls enjoying their time after everyone else was done. What a fun party, it's always fun doing girly things.

It's great to be 8

Happy Happy Birthday Morgan Dear. What a very special birthday for her this year, she has prepared to turn 8 years old. I can't believe Morgan is old enough to get baptized. She is a great example to her sisters and a wonderful daughter. I'm so proud of you.
I'm a child of God cake.
Morgan's birthday fell this year on Sunday, we had to wait for dad to get home from work that morning to open gifts. We then rushed to our 8:30 church, we were last but that's ok.
Her very own scriptures with her name on the front.
A new jewelry box holder that hangs on the wall it has lots of pictures of Morgan on the front
Baptism dress
Picture frame jewelry box, scriptures, high hills, white dress and clothes. She's all set for her baptism day.

Machine Pitch 2nd place

Our team took second place in the tournoment. We lost to BC 10-4. Great season Mesa!!! We will get them next year.

My big hitters!!!!

Natalie turns 6

Yes, the day finally came for our Natalie. She is now 6 years old. May 14th this year was on a Tuesday she went to school and then came home and played in her T ball game.
Natalie is very special. She can always brighten a room. She loves to be on dad's lap, when ever he is home. She still wants to sleep with mom every chance she gets. She has lots of friends and enjoys playing with them. Her 2 best friends are Kennedy Hailey and Kiesten Price.
"Under the Sea" was her cake
Opening her presents before the bus came at 7:40 am
She was excited about her gifts this year. A Jumbo ball to roll in, clothes, shoes, basket and horn for her bike, decorative tape and money.
I keep teasing her that she had to stay 5 and in Kindergarten forever, she would get mad when I would say that. She's going up way to fast. What happened to my little girl. She has become a great helper though.
Oh ya......She got two baby kittens for her birthday. She named them May and Alis. She wanted a rabbit but had to settle for baby kittens.
We love you Natalie!!!

Baseball is in full swing

This spring all three girls wanted to do baseball. Madalyn and Morgan were old enough for machine pitch and Natalie was on the T Ball team. It's was so fun to see each one of the girls improve over the season. We bought a pitching machine and the girls have been able to practice at home. They have loved playing baseball at home as a family.
Madalyn 3rd grade. Favorite position 1st base.

Natalie kindergarten. Favorite position 1st base

Morgan 2nd grade. Favorite position pitcher.
I got to coach the big girls machine pitch team this year with Lisa Benites. It was a fun year. Our team did great we even went to the championship game. We were the Mesa Mariners.
Madalyn's least favorite place to play.
I loved watching Natalie play ball, she was just the cutest little girl out on the field. She loved to play a base. As soon as the ball was hit she would run to her base put her foot on the base, with mitt up and ready for someone the throw her the ball. After the play was over she would talk to the runner that was on her base. She was a social butterfly.
Nice hit Natalie!!!Libby Davis was her coach. She looked forward to the  end of the game treats
With mom coaching Brooklyn got to run wild.
There was not a game that we went to when Brooklyn came home clean. She got in the mud at every game.

Tucannon

Our fishing trip this year to Tucannon was a success. We went with 2 other families, Brain Lloyd and Shawn Salisbury. In total the 3 families caught 100 fish, in a 2 hours time. Now that's my kind of fishin, just wish they were a little bigger.
Morgan got pretty good at casting her pole. We were really lucky, not to many people there this weekend. I was very surprised with it being mothers day weekend.
Madalyn waiting patiently for a fish to bite. A few times we had fish on all 3 poles at once, what fun that was.
Natalie was not to interested in holding the pole, she found it more fun to find treasures that the past fisher men had left behind, and play with the already caught fish.
Brooklyn was in heaven, she loved rilling the fish in.  She even waited for one to bite and then rilled it in on her own. We didn't even know she had one on until it was to the bank. Plus we had packed lots of treats, she loves treats.

When we were eating our lunch I stepped on a bug and killed it Natalie said " Don't do that mom, it's Mother Nature".  What a fun day exploring Mother Nature.

Geocaching

Tri Cities Geocaching: A High-Tech Treasure Hunt and the Jenks Family is on the Hunt.
What a fun Saturday activity dad had planned for the family. We set off for Columbia Point Park in Kennewick, we made 4 stops along the way into town and found a few locations where things were hidden.
Once we got to the park we all got on bikes and rode around finding about 7 more spots in the park where people had hidden boxes, the kids loved it. It was a giant Easter egg hunt
While we were at the park a clown was making animals out of balloons for free, it added a but plus to the day. Also they were doing free train rides around the park. What fun!!! We then headed to Red Robin for the 3 May birthdays Meals. Morgan and Natalie loved being sang to.

Weather this month has been amazing, we have broken many records for hot weather in May. We even hit 95 today, that is unheard of. We love it. We start cutting hay this week so it will most likey rain and get cold.

Learning to ride her bike

After two days of practicing Brooklyn learned how to ride her bike. She was so excited she rode all by herself down to Grandma McGary's house to show her.

Natalie has moved up in bike size, she now gets Morgan's old bike.

Crazy Hair day at school
