Get Air

 This past summer we got a new trampoline park in Tri-Cities, we didn't get the chance to go during the summer so we went last Saturday when we had no school for Parent teacher conferences. Then went to Red Robin for my birthday.

 It was a lot of fun, the kids got lots of good AIR.

 Great Grandpa Don McGary loves making stuff from wood, for as long as i can remember he makes a least a few projects and shares them with the grand kids and great grand kids. Our girls just love it when he calls and tells us to come down and pick out our projects. This year we just went and made turkeys. What a great talent to share with his family.

Salmon

What a great 2013 season for salmon fishing, our family went more than any other year. We truly enjoy fishing together as a family. Garrett was truly in heaven, he took many friends and many different families in our ward. I think he caught over 100 salmon this year. During the middle of the season we let the kids skip school to go fishing. "The best skip day ever" said Morgan.

 FISH ON!!!!!

We had a blast that day, we had 10 fish in the boat. This was all within 5 hours. These fish were all really good in size 16-20 pounds each. We were laughing so hard at the kids they could hardly reel in the fish because of the size. We filled the cooler full then we had to dump out our cooler with our lunch in it and use that. When that was full we decided that we should call it a day. We had 2 fish laying on the floor of the boat, we better go home before the fish meat go bad from not being keep cold. When we got back to the boat launch everyone was so impressed with the amount of fish this group of girls caught. But there was no way we were going to tell them where our "Honey Hole" was. What a fun day together as a family. We came home and vacuum packed the fish. We had over 70 pounds of meat. FOOD STORAGE!!!!!

Hunters Safty

 In August the two big girls talked Garrett into signing them up for the Hunter safety class, they worked hard on passing the online class. They had signed up for the field day the first of October, they didn't pass the written tests at the beginning of the class. They were bummed out when they had to come home early and not get to practice all the skills they had worked so hard on with their dad. Oh well next year girls.

 Garrett had bought them a youth gun for hunting elk and deer. Morgan was not scared to shoot it, but Madalyn was scared of the kick. So she would not shoot it.

Growing to fast

I just wanted to write down what the kids want to be when they grow up:
Madalyn age 10- animal rescuer, or Vet
Morgan age 8- chef and own her own restaurant named "Princess Morgan"
Natalie age 6- author
Brooklyn age 3- Princess

I love how different each of our kids are, they each bring so much joy to Garrett and I.

Horse Heaven

 Stanley and Jamie Cox have finished dental school and have moved back to Warden. We couldn't be happier to have their family back.

 They have horses and our kids are always asking to go and visit and ride.

 The kids love the small horse, just their size.

 Late in the summer we were able to go on a quick one night over nighter with Jason and Karyn and Grandma and Grandpa. Even though it was just for one night it was a lot of fun.

The Secret Garden

 "What a busy, crazy, fun week it was" The Missoula Children's Theatre came to Mesa School this past week, the students that tried out after school got to put on the play The Secret Garden.

 The 2013 cast. On Monday 55 kids tried out for the play. In the years past they have had to cut students, I was very nervous that not all three girls would get parts. They did a wonderful job trying out. We were all very excited when they told us they had parts for all the kids.

 Monday- Friday were some long practices. It started after school 2:30- 7:30 they had a 20 minute dinner break so I would run dinner up to them and then bring them home after it was all over. Brooklyn got good at learning all the songs and a few fun lines the kids got to say. What a fun week but I'm glad it's only every 3 years with happens.
