Fireplace

 Installing the fireplace.

It turned out amazing. One of my favorite parts about the house.

I'm in LOVE

Happy 11th Birthday

Oh My!!!! Look who is 11 years old. I can't believe she is almost old enough to go to mutual. Madalyn turned 11 while we were in the transition from the sale of our house to the move into the new house being built. So we were living in the trailer next to grandma Jenks house.

We hurried and opened her presents after school before her soccer game, she didn't open them in the morning because Garrett was not home. After the soccer game we had dinner and cake and ice cream.

New soccer shoes
New clothes is always a big hit with girls
Yes that is make-up, but you can't wear it for another year.

This year Madalyn pretty much made her own cake. She helped out big time.

Make a wish. We love you.

the kitchen

Install of the granite. So happy with what we picked out. We went back and forth with so many different colors. I wanted to find something that would look good with both the white and the dark cabinets.

Kitchen appliances stacked out in the garage waiting to be installed.

When Jim Gilbert started bring the cabinets it truly felt like christmas to me, it was so exciting to see what each day would bring. We ordered the cabinets back in June and they were suppose to be ready September 1st. He started installing them September 10th and he finally finished the 31st of October. It was worth the wait.

We are here to stay

It's now totally official we are here to stay, our hands are in the cement!!!
They laid the apron in front of the house. I went to school and pulled the kids out of school so they could come home and put their hand prints in the wet cement.

Fun family activity

Working the ground, trying to leveling the land. Getting everything level. Lots of hours

The cleaning is never done, always lots sweeping. The carpet will be installed soon so we have to get the floors all cleaned up.

Connell Soccer

Our first sports season at a new school. Madie and Morgan were on the same team, they had a tuff season. Not a win. But they did great and improved so much.  I was the coach for Natalie's team, we won about half their games. The weather was amazing this season, we didn't have to pack a jacket at all.
