A new Look
On Friday I cut 6 inches off Morgan's hair. She started asking me to cut her hair short about 2 weeks ago. I was really surprised cause she was the one that said you are not a true princess without long hair. I waited a little while cause I thought it might just be a thought she had one day and the next she would want long hair. So after 2 weeks of her asking I told her ok. It was a little hard for me to cut that long blonde hair. It is really cute, she loves it. She thinks she looks like Annie with her short hair. It will be nice to not fight the tangles this summer.
Morgan also gave her first talk today in Primary, she did very good. It was very fun to watch her, she acted so big. The talk was on "I want to be like Jesus when I grow up", it was about all the things she will do just as Jesus did when she goes up.

Fishing trip
father's day/ 10 yrs.
I have a little up dating to do, this is what we have been up to this past week:
**Went to our 10 year class reunion, we had about 25 classmates that attended. The dinner was really good we had it in at the trac in pasco and they did the food. It was nice to see old friends, and get caught up on every ones life. We have had 2 classmates pass away in the last 10 years.
** We went hiking with my family to the Bolder Caves up past Yakima. That was so much fun, we all packed lunches and went through the caves. The kids had a great time, we need to go camping soon with the girls.
**Had Fathers Day on Sunday over at Mary's House. We had a WONDERFUL dinner over at her house with Justin and Heather's Family. It is nice to have family around.
I am so grateful for what a great dad I had growing up, he taught me to love the gospel and how to work.
I am so blessed to have a wonderful and loving husband. I could have not married anyone else and been as happy as I am today. It amazes me each day by the love he has for our girls and me. I know he would do whatever it takes for us. He always wants us to be happy and enjoy life. He wants everything for our kids, I think he spoils them more that I do. The kids enjoy their dad very much, he has such a good bond with them. Garrett you are a great DAD and HUSBAND, you make me want to be better and I'm glad that we are together forever.

update on kyle
Here is the latest on Kyle from Kathi:
Just talked to Natalie. Cat scan partial results are in , there are some spots on Kyle's kidneys, liver and lungs. He seems to have good moments and then struggles with breathing and high fevers. The infectious disease Dr. will be in tomorrow to read all the results and then they will come up with an attack. This appears that it will be a long process. He can't leave the hospital until he has gone 24 hours without a fever and when he does leave he will have an IV port put in for antibotics to be administered by Natalie for 2-6 weeks depending how his body is doing getting rid of the bacteria. The big concern right now is keeping the correct medications in him so that the organs that are affected will not shut down. Please keep him in your prayers and we will keep everyone updated. Funny thing! Kyle told the nurse that he loves baseball and when she puts in an IV she only gets 3 strikes . She ended up not being able to get it in because of the amount of sweat his body is producing I am not sure who came up to bat next but he gives them a hard time if they don't get it the first time. I forgot to mention. The 4 cultures that came back today all tested positive for E coli so it is all through his blood system right now. Scary!

Kyle Eppich
Today I got a scary phone call from my mom about my cousin Kyle Eppich, which is Karl and Kathi's son. Kyle and I are the same age and he now lives in Texas with his wife and 2 kids. He has not been feeling very good the last few days and has been to a few doctors, and finially his wife took him the the ER yesterday. Here is Kathi's letter to the family she can tell you better about what is going on:
Hi Family; Just an update on Kyle's progress. The 48 hr. cultures will be in today to see if the medications that they are using on him are correct. He had a chest x-ray last night because he was having difficulty breathing so they put him on oxygen,he loved it and wondered why they didn't do it earlier. The chest xray showed no signs of penumonia. He continues to drop his vitals in a good range and all of a sudden he begins another attach where his fever spikes and his heart rateraises. They are still baffled at the urinary tract infection, the kidney's are infected but responding to the medicationthey did ultrasound on the kidneys and they are functioning good and healthy which with E-coli posining that is a big problem so we feel good that they are not damaged. They are almost sure he has had E-coli poisoning but the cultures will confirm that.He has been a very sick guy. They are calling in an infectious disease spec. today to work with him. It's funny! As you can imagin I have had a hard time being here and them so far away. Kel found a good ticket price for us out of pasco, I told Natalie and Kyle told her sounds good, tell me what time to go pick her up. He told his Dad that he is pretty sick but is pretty sure he is going to rap this up soon and he will be fine. this has been a very scary time for their little family and we appreciate all the families prayers and willingness to fast with us.
I thought that all you that know Kyle would like to know what is going on. Please keep him in your prayers. Kyle has always been a big brother to me, always watching out for me.

Dr. Appointments
Wednesday Morgan and Natalie both had their well check ups. Madalyn also had to come along to get her shots for Kindergarten. She doesn't do very well with shots so I had made them when Garrett could go with me to help hold her down. At her last shot visit 1 1/2 years ago it took 3 nurses and me to give them to her (she is just so strong). This time she did better but it was still hard for her, she gets herself worked up so easy. She received 2 shots. Morgan got 4 shots, she is now already for Kindergarten also. I was going to break up the shots and do 2 this time and then 2 next year but when I asked her what she wanted to do she said she wanted them all now. It is crazy how different these two girls are.
Morgan's 4 Year- weight 27 lbs.(gained only 3lbs in one yr.) 0% percentile

Natalie's 2 Year- weight 24 lbs. 15% percentile
