On Friday June 22, Sarah got married in the Columbia River Temple. What a special day for her and Dexter. We are so excited for their new life together.
The kids waited for them to come out of the temple. They looked so cute in their matching outfits.

Mesa's Got Talent
This was the first year Mesa School had an end of the year talent show. The girls were brave enough to get up and do a dance. I was so happy they wanted to do it, they also made up the dance with their two friends. They made up everything on their own. No help from the parents, they got together a few times to practice.

Memorial Day
This Memorial Day we went to John's, Kristi's and Elden's graves in Othello, then went to the park for lunch and to play softball. What a great family tradition to carry on. I didn't take to many pictures.
Brooklyn loves to put head bands in her hair. Natalie dropped hers on the grass, next thing I see Brooklyn has found it and now it's in her hair.

Grandpa's Hand
We had a very scary week. My dad was in the hospital for 6 days after a bad accident with his left hand. Friday May 13 he was working on the farm, his screwdriver slipped and went deep into his left hand. He thought that it bleed bad enough that everything was out, he came home cleaned and covered it. Plus if you know my dad he doesn't go to the Dr. very easy. Over the next few days he started to get a fever and the hand got really big. So Wednesday he went to the Dr. they sent him right over to the E.R. there he had x rays done, the infection was so bad he needed emergency surgery there was also something in the hand. It was very scary they didn't know if he would be able to save the hand or not. At this point I was so worried plus Garrett begins to tell me how bad it could be if the infection gets into his blood stream. WOW!!!! The pleading with the Lord beings. I was an emotional wreck. Surgery went well and now they have so start fighting the infection with the "BIG GUNS" the Dr. called it which made my dad so sick. Each day brought on new problems that he had to face. I have not seen my dad ever in so much pain, very hard to watch. After 6 long and painful days he is home with a shunt iv line (he will have for 1 month) to give the medicine. He is very lucky. I thank my heavenly father for the protection he has given my dad over the past two weeks. Garrett and the boys have been doing hay for him. It's nice to be able to do service for him, cause he will never ask for it. WE LOVE YOU DAD!!!
dad's 31
It's seems like over the past few years since we have 2 girls birthday's the same week by the time we get to Garrett's it gets over looked and we don't do that much. It was the same this year. Garrett was very busy with helping run my dad's farm since the accident we hardly saw him. His birthday was Sunday, he worked at the Fire Station that day so we opened his presents Saturday night.
I was really excited this year for his presents, we got him: Cord Buddy to help him play the guitar, Kreg tool, Electric deer feeder, sandals, and Natalie gave him a big pack of his favorite gum.
Happy birthday to a great Husband!!!! Hopefully when hay is over we can go out for your birthday.

Meet Kate
Morgan got what she has been wishing for a.........Turtle. For her birthday!!!
For almost a year now Morgan has been asking for a red ear slider turtle, Christmas came and went with no turtle. So a few months before her birthday we took her to the pet shop to see the turtles and have the pet store tell us all about them. They are a lot of work, with keeping the tank clean.
The set up for a turtle is also very costly, about $200. We tried so hard to talk her out of a turtle but she said that's the only thing I want mom. And when you over hear your child praying for it. I knew she was going to broken hearted if we didn't get her a turtle. To try and keep the cost down we found a friend gave us the tank, we decided to keep it outside to help with the smell. We have to change the water each day. But I do have to say the kids have loved having her. Morgan has been on the computer finding out lots of facts about her turtle, we have also ordered looks from the library.
Morgan named her on her own at first it was Sally for about an hour, then Rosie for the next few hours then she said I don't like those names it's now KATE.
The first night we had her I couldn't find Morgan to put in bed. I soon found her singing good night songs to Kate outside. The first thing she does when she wakes up is runs out to see and feed her.
We hope she lives a long time. They could live 20+ years. Morgan says she's taking her to her wedding with her.

Morgan's Big Day
Our sweet Morgan turned 7 on Saturday, May 19th. May is a busy month for us for birthdays, hopefully I make their birthdays special. I'm so grateful that we get to celebrate another year with Morgan she brightens my day. She has a tender heart, she often comes to give me a big hug and tells me she loves me or I will get notes on my pillow. A very thoughtful little girl.
Morgan requested a rainbow cake this year. She told me that she needed to blow out the candles before she opened her presents so she could wish for a turtle. (We did get her a turtle)
Morgan's first friends party was Friday the day before her birthday. We had 9 girls. Krista, Kylie G., Kylie C., Corrigan, Taylor, Chloe and Morgan, Madalyn, and Natalie.
The girls had a great time with Just Dance Wii, making necklaces, the rest of the games.
What kid doesn't love a pinata???
Saturday the day of Morgan's birthday she had to wait until 9:30 am for Garrett to get home from a camp out with the scouts. We hurried and opened her gifts and went to Sarah's Bridal Shower. It was a busy day for us, Grandpa was also in the hospital with a hurt hand. Lucky Grandma Jenks felt bad for her and she took her to dinner that night. Morgan picked to go to Panda Express.
We gave Morgan her red ear slider turtle, Pool inter tubes, earring holder, activity book, underwear, stuffed bear. Grandma Jenks gave her $7 , and Grandpa and Grandma McGary gave her really cute rain boots.
Happy Birthday Princess!!!

I can do it..........
The day after Natalie turned 5 she learned how to ride her bike without training wheels. She had tried last year but crashed hard and said she was going to wait until she was 5.
The day after she turned 5 she took off. It didn't take her long at all. Garrett taught her and then took a break and I ran beside her. Way to go Natalie!!!!
