Adding to the cost of the house

HVAC has been in the last few weeks, rough in plumbing is done, shingles are on the roof, and electrical is almost done. Move along really fast with the progress of the house.

Garrett and I spend a lot of time over at the house, I'm so thankful for Madalyn and Morgan being able to help out with babysitting. There have been many mornings Garrett and I have left at 5:00 am to go over and work on the house and we have left the kids home to babysit. Or we have been in town all day picking out stuff for the house. I can't wait for it to be done.

The Big 4 For Brooklyn

After the longest wait it's finally Brooklyn's 4th birthday. She is so full of life. We all love having her in our family. She loves everything girly. LOVES make-up and dress up.

A new game from Grandma and grandpa McGary
She loves coloring and arts and crafts. The girls got her lost of that kind of stuff for her birthday.
Bithday presents: Baseball T, Paint pallet pad, necklace, pail, dress, and crafts. What more could a 4 year old girl need?????

She picked out her birthday cake this year, a purple Tinker Bell. It was just easier this year to buy it. I have been so busy with building the house. She didn't seem to care.

Her birthday Party with her friends
Bailey Lloyd, Brooklyn, Emrie Mackay, Brayden, Wyatt,Chandler, Kenzie, and Remi Eppich

We set up the bounce house, and the sprinklers. The kids enjoyed it. We played a few games and did presents and cake and ice cream.

Don't tell me what it is!!!

Trusses & Digging the well

June 12 they delivered the trusses for the house. It was another fun day over at the house. While they were unloading the trusses the well guy decided to show up to dig the well. It was a busy day.
The house is taking on a new look each day. I love this stage, you can see big progress each day. We have been blessed to have great contractors so far. We are moving forward on schedule, we hope to be done by October 31.

Looks like that's a lot of money in lumber.

 Living Room

 The kitchen is taking shape.

Let's hope we picked a good spot to drill the well. Praying for a shallow well.
We are enjoying the building process. It's very stressful but i think we are staying on top of things. Lets hope we can stay ahead of ordering things and picking out everything.
We are still trying to sell our house, that's another stress by itself.

We hit  lots of water at 220 feet. Let's pray it's good water.

Loving the warm weather

We didn't plant a garden this year because we didn't think we would be here for a lot of the summer, and we are super busy with building the house. We are really missing having fresh fruit and vegs. Good thing we have neighbors willing to share, we were able to make strawberry jam. So Good.
We finally ordered a new pump for the pool. It's up and running now.

our last days at Mesa Elementary

Today was a day that I was not looking forward to all week, I knew it would be a very emotional day for me. Today was play day at Mesa, the last time I would be helping out with school events at Mesa. I'm very excited about our move but I will miss all the friends I have made and the teachers my kids have had. I have loved our little school.
When Madalyn started kindergarten 5 years ago I remember coming home from one of the first school events and crying thinking I have no friends here at the school, and now as I drove out of the parking lot today I was thinking what I'm I going to do without all the friends I have made.
Thanks Mesa parents and teachers for loving my kids.

Morgan and Crista 3rd grade
play day was a big hit again this year, anything with water on a hot day is fun.

Natalie's Field Trip

I was able to go with Natalie and her class to the Police station and the Pasco Fire Department and then to eat lunch at the park.
I remembered to take pictures at the police station but forgot when she went to see Garrett at the Fire Station. I was sad when i got home and no pictures of Garrett and Natalie. The kids all loved the Fire Station.

1 month down

Framing started 1 week ago. It's fun to see how quickly this process can come together in a short time.

Big Bend got the power poles up along the road.
