Horse riding with Beth Paugh

One of the summer activity the kids have been begging to do was ride houses, so Beth was kind enough to let them come and enjoy a morning on her horses.

Madalyn is a pro, she was running all over with them.
Brooklyn would not get on them, last winter she got bucked off.

Allred pond

On tuesday Sarah had all of us out to the pond for an afternoon. It was so much fun. The kids were brave and tried everything.

The rope swing was a big hit. All the kids and me went off the middle section, Madalyn and Taylor Bennett went off the very top. So scary!!
This paddle board was so fun. Easier than i thought.

stucco progress

Insulation

Lots of Pink and Brown Insulation, we also did the foam around all the interior walls.

Brooklyn is working hard at the house "Gathering Treasures"
This is what happens when we spend 12 hours over at the house working. You don't even have time to take the towel off your head before falling asleep.

The 4th

Maya and Madie are twins in their swim suits.
The 4th of July was hot 100 degrees. We went to the Basin City Parade, that thing is getting bigger and bigger each year. Got our candy supplies. Then headed to the Scootney to do some boating.

catching worms to go fishing

We were able to go do a little bit of fishing, they were small but we caught about 15. It was a catch and release day.

A new look for the outside of the house

Jr. construction started a few days ago with the stucco, it's been interesting to watch them work and put on the foam. Each stage is so fun to watch.

We are still moving forward very fast with the house, there are so many decisions to be made. I have many sleepless nights worrying about what would look best. Sleep has not been easy, I fall asleep very fast at night but wake up around 2-3 am worrying about things. I really hope I enjoy all the choices I have made. We just ordered my cabinets in the house.

We spend almost everyday over there working, Garrett and I did some of the electrical. What hard work and a headache that was. Plus the past 2 weeks it's been over 100 degrees everyday. To hot!! The kids are hating the summer and all the work that has to be done.
