It has been a long time since i have been on here to let everyone know how are little family is doing. We have been so busy these last few weeks with yard work. On house is on 1.5 acres and so that gives us lots of room; which we love the extra space but it requires alot more work. When we first bought this house 2 years ago we didn't have any landscaping or trees in the yard the house was built and then nothing done with the yard. So these past few weeks we have been planting tree, scrubs, flowers and i also found a little time to start my veg. garden. I love working outside in the yard, that is something that i have always loved doing and when the house is your it makes it even more special and exciting to see the changes you have done. We have also had alot of rock brought in from beaver bark, we got gravel to go in the driveway, river rock to go in all the flower beds and around trees, and then we had pea gravel to go under the swing set and around the tramp and in the sand box(the kids area). this has required alot of hard labor shoveling all the rock around to the different parts of the house. But i have loved it, we are having ok weather and i have to be out in the sun. ( hoping to get a tan). After we get done with that we are going to paint the outside of the house, the garage was added on after the house was built and so it was never painted and so the house is 8 years old we are just going to paint the whole thing now a different color. we had someone come out and the bid was $6,500 for them to do it, so garrett has decided to do it ourselves. I hate painting. Well better go i think that LOST starts back up this week and i love that show, i can't miss it.
ps. here are some pictures of the girls playing outside, and in dress up clothes.

Oh my goodness...your girls are so cute in their dress up clothes!!! I can't wait until Kenna is big enough to get into that! It sounds like you guys have been WAY busy...I can't wait to have our own house to do stuff to! Good to see your pictures! Talk to you later!
I love yard work as well. I'll have to come see everything you've done. I want to paint our house so bad, but I have a hard time putting much money into a a house we rent. Let me know if you need any help.
Sounds like you have plenty to do to stay busy. I like that our yard is very low maintainance but also wish we had a bigger one and a little privacy. How am I suppose to get a tan when I only have to mow my lawn once a week and maybe pull a weed or two:) Oh well some day I guess. Have fun! Oh, I don't think I am coming this week. But I will be happy to help you next time I am out.
I'm so sorry Jilayne! I was really looking forward to living in Spokane and being able to see you. I guess we just weren't supposed to end up there. Colorado will be great for us though. We're excited and I can't wait to move and get settled down in our new home!
Oh and I love your girls cute dressup skirts!
Cute Kids! You always have them dressed up so cute. We do need to get together. When the weather is good enough to stay outside for more the 15 min we will have to do something.
I think that was a high estimate too-glad you are going another route. I hope you have good weather for painting it. It's always exciting to see the finished product of your hard work-and you will enjoy it many years into the future. Being outside is so uplifting to the soul-Joe is going to go crazy if our house in boise doesn't sell soon. We'd love to get out of our apt and into another house just for the yardwork. We love gardening too-and I miss my Roses!!!
