The 4th of July

Here are some of the highlights from the 4th of July weekend:
Going to the Basin City Parade with Emily, Sarah, Grandma, Grandpa.
Getting new 4th of July clothes to wear that day
Playing with cousins at Chuck E Cheese
Swimming at the hotel
Eating lots of great food
Boating with Grandpa McGary's boat, the girls went for a tube ride.
Hadleys Baptism
Watching fireworks
My silly girls, they are cute all dressed up in RED,WHITE, BLUE

The girls are waiting for the parade to start, blowing bubbles.
The most important thing to remember was what happened on the 5th of July. Garrett's dad was killed on that day. This day is always hard around our home. Garrett is never himself on that day. John was such a great man and father, i offen wonder what he would have been like as a grandpa for my kids. I'm sure the girls would have just loved him. Madie often asks lots of questions about him, and what he was like. I told her one time grandpa Jenks was alot like your dad. I see so much of John in Garrett. We love and miss you Grandpa Jenks. We can't wait for the day we can see you again.

Oh how I remember those curb size days in the great BC! It's nothing comapred to the parade here in size, but I missed actually knowing everyone in it!

I love the 4th of July clothes! Your girls are really cute. And I'm also sorry that it's a tough time of year. I didn't know about all of that. Hang in there.

Your girls are so cute-love their little patriotic outfits. I saw the fire in spokane today-I hope if garretts up there fighting it that he stays safe.

I heard that parade was great for candy. If gas wasn't so dang expensive we would have come to it. Oh well, what can you do.
