Fair

On Wednesday we went to the Benton Franklin Fair. The girls just loved it. The weather was not the best, but it was alot of fun. The pigs, horses, rabbits, cows, goats were the highlight for the girls. Natalie wanted in the cages to play with the ducks.

We tried not to let the girls see the horse rides cause they are a rip off, ( $5.00 for 5 mintues) but they remembered them from last year. They enjoyed them, and wanted a new pony to take home.

We entered Natalie into the Diaper Durby contest, they have to crawl from one parent to the next. Their was about 30 babies there from ages 8 months to 18 months. She was great and she WON!!!! We came home with a nice gift basket with lots of baby things inside. The rules were you could use whatever things to get the child to come to you. Lots of parents had bottles, plugs, favorite toys, blankets. I bring out a sucker, bag of sour worms and a cell phone. She crawled so fast right to me, she had to crawl a few times because there was so many kids. I knew all the time that her not wanting to walk was going to pay off. If the fair was a week later then she would not have wanted to crawl, she is now finally starting to walk all by herself.

good job Natalie, that girl knows what is important. Who needs a binki when you can have a sucker with much better flavor:)

Loved the pony ride pictures. Looks like the girls had a great time. I love seeing all you kids blogs. they are great for grandmas. I can't create a blog but I love looking at them. Can't believe Natalie won but she knows a good thing when she sees it.
