I have been done christmas shopping for a few weeks now but the girls really wanted to get each other gifts for christmas so we headed to tri-cites. I thought it was a great idea. Garrett had the day off yesterday and so we all went. We are driving into town, we had to get garrett's pick-up oil changed so the girls were all in the back. They love riding in the truck cause they can touch each other and I hate it cause there is so much more fighting going on. We are about 10 mins. down the road and they are half playing and half fighting and the car is so loud that we can't even talk I turn around to them for the 10th time to tell them to be quite and Madalyn says "But mom we are kids were suppose to play" it just made us both laugh. We ended up taking the kids to the dollar store to pick out gifts for each other, it was really cute to have them think of what their sister would like. Madalyn just can't wait until Morgan can open her present. After a few hours in tri-cites Garrett says "I don't know why you like to do this" I was thinking I should make him take them to do the shopping one day all by himself, and give him the longest list of things to get. I wonder how much he would get done.
Natalie woke up at 4:00 am sick with the flu. I felt so bad for her she threw up 7 or 8 times, but she seems to be feeling alot better this afternoon.

What a bummer, poor Natalie! Atleast she will feel good for Christmas, hopefully. Men are all the same, Chad always complains if he ever has to go to town with us. I think you're right they should have to face town alone with the kids and maybe they wouldn't complain when we're there to help:)
I know we were just talking about this the other night, but it happened again today!! We were in town and Kyle actually suggested that I go in alone and he'd stay in the car with the boys because they make him that crazy in the store. It makes me laugh. I really would love it if he was me for a day.....and actually HAD to accomplish all that I get done. He'd never live.:)
That makes me laugh! Men will be men I guess. Hope Natalie is feeling better. That's really no fun!
