Garrett and Kids got up early Friday morning to make me breakfast in bed. It was great to sleep in an extra hour. I was not expecting this, we usually make each other breakfast in bed on mothers day and fathers day but Garrett was going to have to work on saturday so that would mean that he would get home just in time to make it to church sunday morning. Can you believe that he thought about it and planned to do it a few days before? What a great treat. The kids always love doing this, they made different shape pancakes.
Yesterday was mother's day and I really enjoyed the day with family. I'm so glad that I'm able to be a mother here on this earth, my heavenly father has blessed us with 3 wonderful kids and a great husband that I love with all my heart. Being a mom is one of the hardest jobs in the world, but I really love it. I want to express my love to my mom and to Garrett's mom, they are the best. We are very blessed to have two wonderful women that love and support our family in all we do.For mother's day I told Garrett not to get me anything cause we just bought a boat and are going to disneyland in a few weeks so the money is needed to go elsewhere but he just could not resist. He bought me a new skillet which was very badly needed in our home. Madalyn made me the flower container at preschool. She was very excited to give it to me. Overall I had a great day, Thanks so much for making me feel special and loved.

I've never thought of using cookie cutters for pancake patterns. What a cute idea! Do they melt?
