For the 4
th of July we attended the Basin City Parade, we really enjoy going to the parade every year. The kids always enjoy all the candy that is thrown.
We had a BBQ at my mom's after the parade, we did a few sparklers after lunch. We planned on doing more fireworks that night but Natalie got the flu. She has had the flu for the past 4 days, it is a bad one, we only hope no one else gets it especially Brooklyn.

Standing in front of the fire trucks. This year there were over 75 Fire trucks that came in honor of Chet the fire chief from Basin City that diedfew days before the 4
th while fighting a grass fire near by. When something like that happens it just reminds me of how dangerous Garrett's job is.

You have the most beautiful daughters! I hope that flu stays away from everyone else! That is no fun!
We thought that Kira's daughter had the flu but I don't think anyone else had anything. We missed you at the parade. But we will have to come by when we are out there next so we can see your new baby.
