Last Saturday was the first time the girls and I have been out fishing this year. With Brooklyn joining our family it's a lot harder to take the family. Garrett goes and takes friends lots of the time. It's not fun for the girls to notice that dad and the boat are gone, or when he comes home with fish and they realize that they missed out. When we fish with just our family he is on his own most of the time (one man show), he has to drive the boat, put out all the lines and fix it all cause I'm no help. Brooklyn is at a busy age and has no fears. I have to hold her most of the time. She hates her life jacket. So all my focus is on her.

We caught 4 fish, the kids just love waiting to see how big the fish are, Natalie always wants to get baby fish. This was her fish. Justin was able to go with us. That was a big help, hopefully he didn't mind to much. Him and Garrett would set the hook then give it to the girls and they would rill them in.

Madalyn was really tired, I can't believe she feel asleep for a few minutes. She was feeding Brooklyn her bottle and then I look over and she is out. Not Brooklyn though, she was just playing on her BIG Sister while she slept.

The fishing trip turned out to be a crazy expensive trip. We get to the place we are going to fish and we have a flat tire (this same tire Garrett had got fixed earlier in the week) so lucky we have a spare so we get that fixed and go fishing. Then we start home about 30 miles down the road we blow out a different tire, sparks were flying and we could barely drive it off the road. Of course we are already using the spare. So Garrett gets the tire off and sends me and the kids to the tire store about 15 minutes away while he stays on the side of the road with the boat. We were afraid things would get stolen so he stayed. Then while I'm at the tire store I drop my I phone on the ground and it brakes and so now I have to get a new phone. While I'm at the tire store they try telling me that it's going to be 1-2 hours to get a new tire, I think they could tell I was not happy and I had 4 hungry mad kids that wanted to go home. Not the best day for MOM!!! After I so kindly (Not really) explained the situation they had us out of there in 15 minutes. Anyways, I finally make it back to Garrett and we get it all fixed. A few days later Garrett takes the trailer in and we need all four new tires. What a fun way to spend your hard earned $$$$$. We just had 4 new tires put on the van also. The tire store must love us. When it rains it pours in our family.

Yikes! What a way to end the trip!!
Sorry about your tires. Don't you just love spending money on such fun necessities? I think we are going to have to have Morgan come over very SOON because Hunter bugs me everyday about seeing her.
