Trick or Treating 2011

Natalie was a tap dancer this year, she was able to use Morgan's tap recital dress and shoes. She was a cute dancer. The older girls taught her a couple of foot moves to do.
She was very excited to be able to wear make up somewhere other than at home.

It was Brooklyn's first time going trick or treating. She loved it and figured out very fast what she was suppose to do to get candy. She had a mouth full all night. She was a Bee for her first time. "THE QUEEN BEE" of course.
She hated the hood to the costume until we got to the school for class parties and saw how much attention she was getting from everyone and then decided she liked it.

 Boo!!!!!!
Madalyn had to be an angel this year, I had to look hard for a kids angel costume.
I felt like such a bad mom Monday morning. Madalyn had wanted her hair in hot sticks that morning so it would be extra curly (she was sure all angels have lots of curls). So I set my alarm to get up 15 minutes early so we would have time to curl her hair. At 5:00 am I hear something out in the kitchen so I go out to see what is going on and Madalyn has woken Morgan up  and both of them were dresses in their costumes and were eating cereal.  I begged them to go back to bed but they wouldn't so I told them to watch a movie and when my alarm went off I would come out and help them finish getting ready. So when my alarm goes off I was thinking I don't need to get up the extra 15 minutes cause the kids are already up and dresses and have eaten so I 'Thought" I hit the snooze bottom but I actually turned the alarm off.  I woke up 15 minutes before the bus came and so I was running around trying to frantically get everyone ready. Poor Madalyn only got  3 curls in her hair, she left that day crying to school. I felt so bad. I could not even take her to school later, I had V.T.ers coming, I didn't feel good, I needed to make cupcakes for the party and come up with some games. What a Bad morning it was. When I got to school for the class parties I gave her a big hug and told her how sorry I was. Some days I think that I'm not cut out for this MOM business.
 Morgan was a pink unicorn.

Happy Halloween. Our ward had a trunk or treat and then we went to the grandparents and a few neighbors. Garrett was gone hunting so we kept it low key. We were home by 6:30.
