Thank Heaven for little Girls

I wanted to take a minute to thank my Heavenly Father for these 3 wonderful girls that he has given Garrett and I. I love having three girls so close in age (most of the time), they are really good friends and big helpers to each other. I love everything about having girls, the cute clothes, all the hair bows, dress up clothes, the sweet little smiles that melt your heart. When i was a few weeks away from having Madalyn (i didn't know if she was a girl or a boy) i was crying to garrett one night cause i thought that she was a boy and i wanted a girl sooooooooo bad. I guess that is why i have all girls now. We love the girls and hope to someday get a boy.

Fishing & Smores

On tuesday we took the girls out fishing. We went to Quincy hoping to have good luck and the kids would get to rill in lots of fish. Our friends went out to the same lake a month ago and caught lots of fish. We arrived around 12:00 and fished for 4 hours and NO FISH!!!! I guess Morgan caught a tiny one, but we had to throw him back. I think the kids loved it, but it would have been funnier if we could have brought home some fish.
Natalie wants Morgans sucker
Morgan's tiny fish, she liked the way it felt.
Are we having fun yet????????
That night when we got home we did smores and they were so good.

We are going camping in a few weeks so we had to experiment with the smores, Morgan loves just the marshmallows. Madalyn like the hersheys and gram cracker. Natalie will eat anything you give her.
We have been blessed, we got a great dad that loves to spend time with his girls. He knows we love to do things together as a family. Thanks for all the time you spend with the girls making memories.

Madie's Dentist Experience

We all went for check ups and cleaning the first of the month, and Madalyn came out all excited and could not wait to tell me that she had 5 (yes 5) cavities. I about cried, this really surprised me because when it comes to keeping the girls teeth clean i'm over the top crazy about brushing. I brush the girls teeth every night the morning. I guess that is what i get for working in an ortho office for 3 years. The dentist said that she is grinding her teeth at night and that is what is causing the trouble. Today we went for the 2nd trip to get the cavities filled. Madie did great, i thought it was going to be a nightmare but she didn't even know that she got a shot.

Fair

On Wednesday we went to the Benton Franklin Fair. The girls just loved it. The weather was not the best, but it was alot of fun. The pigs, horses, rabbits, cows, goats were the highlight for the girls. Natalie wanted in the cages to play with the ducks.

We tried not to let the girls see the horse rides cause they are a rip off, ( $5.00 for 5 mintues) but they remembered them from last year. They enjoyed them, and wanted a new pony to take home.

We entered Natalie into the Diaper Durby contest, they have to crawl from one parent to the next. Their was about 30 babies there from ages 8 months to 18 months. She was great and she WON!!!! We came home with a nice gift basket with lots of baby things inside. The rules were you could use whatever things to get the child to come to you. Lots of parents had bottles, plugs, favorite toys, blankets. I bring out a sucker, bag of sour worms and a cell phone. She crawled so fast right to me, she had to crawl a few times because there was so many kids. I knew all the time that her not wanting to walk was going to pay off. If the fair was a week later then she would not have wanted to crawl, she is now finally starting to walk all by herself.

Spokane to Sandpoint 196 miles... RUN

Spokane to Sandpoint Run was this past weekend. This has become a family tradition that my dad started many years ago when i was in high school. Garrett thought that his x-country days were over when we got married but they had only just began. This race is a 12 man relay race with 196 to run. Each person runs a total of three different times throughout the event. Garrett ran a total of 17 miles. I think he is just crazy for thinking this is fun.
This is a picture of the start line, with the team
There team name was the BLISTER BUSTER!!!!!!
GO DAD, RUN FASTER.........HIS BIGGEST FANS Their start time was 8:30 am on friday and they finished 1:oo pm on Saturday. It took them a little longer than what they hoped; but the weather those 2 days in spokane hit record highs of 102 degrees. I was having a hard time with the heat just shopping i can't even think what it was like running in it.
We made it to the finishing line without any deaths
Chad (brother), Garrett, Lane(dad) sarah (sister)
The team running the last little bit, as the last man finishes
Garrett has some great blisters to show off after the race, he ran 8:30 am on friday then 5:00 that evening and then 2:30 am on saturday. As you can see in this picture the speed limit says 30 so we told Garrett to slow down cause we didn't want a ticket. Great job team, we are wanting to do it again next year.

Go Faster Uncle Brock

Don't the girls look like there ready for the open road, like true bikers. Brock and Emily stopped by today to say hi and take the girls for a ride on Brocks bike. They both loved it. Of course Morgan went first she is my dare devil she will try just about anything, then Madalyn follows her. (She is a little chicken) It is really nice to have some family that live close, my girls just love Brock and Emily. In fact i think Natalie thinks they are her second parents.

Priest Lake Idaho

This past week our family got to enjoy one of our favorite vactions, the families cabin in Priest Lake Idaho. We had our Eppich Family Reunion, it's was so much fun and we enjoyed seeing cousins that we had not seen for a long time. Here are a few things we did: played games unitl 2-3 am and for all you that know Garrett he loves games so he was in heaven. We went on Walks, tube rides, went watersking, enjoyed lost of great food (i think i gained 10 pounds), FHE with the whole family, and just laying around getting a nice tan.
Madalyn, Alsion, Morgan and Lexie
Dallas Bennett and Morgan playing in the water.
I hardly saw the girls at the cabin, they had so many cousins their age. They played so hard all day long. Madie told me that she wants to go back to cabin and play with her friends.
Garrett and Morgan enjoying a little daddy one on one time.
OUR FAMILY ON THE DOCK Morgan enjoying playing in the sand.
Morgan and Sarah on the jet ski, Morgan really enjoyed the rides.
Little Natalie had sand everywhere, she loved the sand and water. The 3 girls going down the slip n slide, Madie was not to sure about. As you can tell we had so much fun and enjoyed spending time with our family. I'm just reminded of how important family really is. Thanks to everyone that helped put it together. We had a BLAST!!!!!!

She Did Great

Yesterday was Natalie's Ear Surgery. She did really good. I forgot the camera, so we took some pictures with Garrett's camera phone and now i have to figure out how to get them on the computer. It was a really fast surgery it only took about 15 minutes, it is crazy how fast it is but they can charge an arm and leg for it.
When Natalie came out of surgery it was hard, she was not a happy girl. She cried and threw herself around for about 30 minutes until the anesthetic wore off. She has been great ever since that. She does hate the drops we have to put in her ears 3 times a day. They told us that anytime she goes in the water (even bath time) she has to wear ear plugs. Did any of you use the ear plugs? My great friend Jennifer brought dinner into us, which was so nice. Thanks again Jen.
I went into check on Natalie last night and found her with her legs hanging out of the bed, she sleeps in crazy positions.

Swim Lessons

Madalyn got brave and jumped off the diving board all by herself and swims in the deep end.

Madalyn and Morgan took swim lessons from my cousins Katlian and Kortneigh Eppich. They are on their 2 week and have improved so much in the past few weeks. They both love the water. (Morgan would like it a little warmer water) Madie is like a fish, she loves to dive for things and is swimming everywhere on her own.
Morgan doing what she does best to hang on, trying to get warm
Morgan swimming under the water
Here is little Morgan at swim lessons. When we first started taking them she would just hang onto the girls necks and didn't want to swim but as time went by she got into the water, and was enjoying learning to swim without a life jacket.

Finally we go out!!!

Garrett and I had a chance to go out last night, we have not had a date in a long time. We went with Emily and Brock to the new Batman Movie that came out yesterday then to dinner. The movie was great we all loved it, but prepare yourself it is 3 hours long.
Natalie in getting tubes in Monday morning, i really hope everything goes well. i'm starting to get nervous, i really don't like them having to put her out to do it. We are praying this will help with all the ear problems she has.
I'm having trouble with the blog background so i hope to have time to fix it later.
