Our BABY is 3
Brooklyn was very excited to have her birthday. Starting in May after Morgan and Natalie's birthdays she would ask me almost everyday "Is it my birthday yet". (She knew her birthday was next in our family). She learned the date of her birthday about 6 months ago, she would tell everyone that her birthday was June 26. She said it in the cutest way.
This year for her big day we bought her a Dairy Queen Blizzard Cake. I felt bad not making it, but she seemed not to care. She went with me to pick it out, she designed it all by herself.
I call her my Baby princess all the time, the cake was very fitting for her. I ask her everyday "Brooklyn are you my baby princess"? She always looks at me smiles and says "YES". A few times she has said, "Mom I'm not a baby, just a princess". But I think she just agrees with me most days and says Yes.
Time has truly flown to fast, I want her to stay this age forever. She is a bundle of Joy and Light in our family. She keeps us laughing with her comments and dancing.
Brooklyn opened her gifts in the morning before dad left for work.
When we would ask her what she wanted all she would say was "Keys". This girl loves to unlock things and play with keys. Many times she has lost the lawn mower keys. She Garrett made her her own key chain and we bought her 3 different cute keys.
A new fishing pole and princess flashlight.
Her own blow up mattress and sleeping bag.
A new shirt and ball. What a great birthday!!! We love you Brooklyn----Love Mom

Brooklyn's Party
Brooklyn was so excited to spend a few hours at Chuck e Cheese for her birthday. It had been about 3 years since we had taken the kids there. When we got there each one of the kids got 20 tokens to spend where ever they wanted.
Brooklyn choose to spend her tokens on mostly the rides, the others played the games where they earned tickets to buy things at the little store. I thought Brooklyn would be sad at the end when it was time to turn in the tickets since she didn't have very many. She was fine!!!
What a fun day. This game was broken so it let us keep playing for free. It was great, we earned lots of tickets that way.
Hit the ducks down.
Go faster Natalie
Brooklyn loved her special day in town with the family!!!

Clyde/ Harris Trip to Priest Lake
Mid June we got to invite some families to Priest Lake. Sam and Nicole Harris and their 4 kids, and Boyd and Nicole Clyde and their 3 kids. We went Sunday- Wednesday. We all enjoyed and agreed that we need to do more things together. The kids got along great. It was a time spent that we will never forget.
Cade, Ethan, Spencer, Morgan, Kenzie, and Madalyn
Garrett and Sam went golfing one day, they found a lake full of painted turtle. Garrett was able to capture this one and bring it back to the cabin. We kept it for 4 days and on the day we were coming home he got out of the box and ran off. The kids were so sad, they wanted to bring him home for Kate to have a friend.

Coloring Sisters
Boating was a highlight, we fit all 9 kids on at once. What a blast. Clydes took up their boat and we took up 2 four wheelers. We enjoyed playing games and lots of laughing, it was a much needed vacation for everyone. Especially the Clydes after the lose of their son Carson. It was good to see them smile again. I honestly don't know how they do it. We pray for their family daily, they are great friends. I have definitely learned lots from them.
One of the best things was cooling off in the water. The kids loved jumping off the boat and swimming around. We also taught the families how to wash their hair in the lake.
Tuesday was a little cooler of the day. We decided to go in the morning and hike to a beautiful water fall. It was fun to see Mother Nature and the wonderful creations we have on this earth.
Kids found a few frogs and a baby bird on the trail.
Jenks Girls Summer 2013
I love my new camera lens I got for Christmas. Madalyn is starting to look more grown up. She is so beautiful.
Garrett made homemade fishing poles for the kids, they caught a few fish off the dock.
"Mom I can't wait to go fishing. I'm getting the biggest one on the lake"
Waiting..........waiting and more waiting!!!!
These two are the biggest clowns around, silly monkeys. Garrett and Sam went golfing one day, they found a lake full of painted turtle. Garrett was able to capture this one and bring it back to the cabin. We kept it for 4 days and on the day we were coming home he got out of the box and ran off. I love my baby Princess, she brings a smile to my face daily.
