This week will be one I will be glad when it is over. Our ward is having our R.S. annual dinner and program tonight. My mom and I were ask to decorate for the evening, so that was another stress added. It turned out really good. But I can't even go tonight to the dinner and enjoy cause I have 4 extra kids at my house and Garrett is at work today. I have Tia's 4 kids while they are down in Texas looking for a house(I am going to miss them so much) Lets just say I don't know how people do it with twins, right now i have 7 kids under the age of 8. CRAZY!!!!! But my kids are loving having their cousins around and in a month they will not be here anymore so the kids can stay as long as Tia needs them to.

Hope for the Best
I have been thinking alot about this election 2008, this world is a scary place to be right now, and when you have kids we all worry what it will be like for them to grow up. I have wanted to post something about the election but just didn't know how or what to say. I was reading my friends blog (Marcie Koch) and she put it the best way, so i hope Marcie you don't mind but you were thinking just as i was. Here is what she Wrote:
*COUNTRY FIRST*
I am proud to say that I voted for John McCain. He is a class act, a true American, and heck - he chose my BFF Sarah Palin as his running mate!
I thought his concession speech was wonderfully written - it brought tears to my eyes. I, like 56,434,100 Americans, will support Obama as our president and hope for the best in the next four years. I just hope people can look past his color - since our country has been working on ending racial separation and discrimination for over 50 years - and see him as a human being.
I enjoyed Senator McCain's speech so much. I especially like the part about how a person's campaign impacts their whole family. It really really does.
She did a great job. Thanks Marcie!! There so many topics that i don't agree on with obama on. Also how about his illegal aunt that is here, he can't even provide a birth certificate. I'm nervous about what is going to happen to our country and wonder at what point our nation will see the mistake that has been made. Oh well. It is going to get ugly. but i will continue to pray for our President.

FHE & Prayers really work
First Off: Monday night for FHE we decided to carve pumpkins, we had a great time. Madie wanted a scary face and Morgan wanted a fun face and Natalie just wanted to hold her little one.

We took the pumpkins outside and put candles in them, we can't wait for Halloween. The kids are going to be cow girls.

Now to the Prayers are really answered: everyday we pray for our families protection, Monday was a day that our family was truly watched over. It was after lunch, Natalie loves to go outside and it's sometimes really hard to keep her happy in the house. Garrett and I were in the kitchen talking and outside our sliding glass door we have a small porch then a large cement patio where the kids ride there bikes. We opened the door and let Natalie play with the dog on the porch, we were standing right there, and could see her. Then no more then a few seconds go by and she is not on the porch anymore, Garrett runs outside to check on her and she is in the middle of the road. She had followed the dog. Now we don't live in town where kids play in the road and the traffic is slow. The raod by our house is 55 mph and lots of trucks are going by our house because of harvest time. We could have lost her so easy that day, it makes me cry when ever i think about it. We were truly watch over that day and given a wake up call, the kids can no longer go outside by themselves. Our Heavenly Father Watches over us.

5 Year Pictures
On Thursday Madalyn had her 5 year pictures taken at Sears. She was really excited to have them done, she picked out what she wanted to wear and how she wanted her hair done. The older she gets the more control she wants to have, she knows what she likes.
She looks like a little princess, she is growing up so fast.

Madalyn is growing up so fast and can't wait to go to school. She just learned her phone number and is now learning her address. She loves friends, new clothes, riding her bike or grandpa's four wheeler, horses, make-up, cell phones, spending the night at grandmas house, and playing house with her sisters (she tells me all the time they need a brother to be the dad when they play house). Man they grow up to fast. Anyways........thought you would enjoy seeing our princess Madalyn

Our trip & Being Sick
Silly little Natalie, she loved wearing the swimming glasses.
Garrett returned home from his hunting trip on Monday night. They came home one day early because it was so wet and cold up there. They saw lots of deer but he didn't get one, 2 of the men up there shot 2 points. Garrett is now hunting around here as i'm writing this, today is the last day to hunt for him.

My day off
Today was my day to celebrate. My birthday is on Sunday the 5th and Garrett will be off hunting in kettle falls Id. The girls and i will be going to bosie to visit family for the weekend. So what did Garrett do................ Surprised me with the day off and shopping with him. He found a babysitter for the girls and told me to be ready wednesday morning at 9:00. It was great; finding a babysitter during the day is half the battle. We spent all day in tri-cities. He had not bought anything for my birthday so he told me to buy whatever i wanted to, so I did. I came home with 3 new shirts, a pair of pants, new shoes and a flower arrangment for the house. He did have to do a liitle bit of shopping for the hunting trip but other than that it was all about ME. Which is great for Garrett he is not a big shopper. Thanks alot Garrett it was great 28th birthday.
